Chess Gurukul’s student Shravan played in the ICC 2020 world open from august 7 through the 9th. It was 9 rounds over the course of 3 days each round lasting 3 hrs. He played in the 1400 section where more than 230 players participated. He originally finished 4th but later on due to FairPlay checking couple of the top players were eliminated and he tied for the first place with a score of 7.5/9 . His coach Mr. Amardeep Bartakke have been instrumental in improving his tactics and his overall skills in the game.
